* In accordance with Act 55 of 2017 and Act 18 of 2019, school board directors are required to complete approved training starting in the 2018-2019 school year. School board directors who began their term after July 1, 2018 are required to complete an initial 5 hours of new school director training and at the beginning of each subsequent election, 3 hours of advanced school director training.
