Arts Alive! exhibit inspires at Penn State New Kensington

The artwork of approximately 150 students – including 30 Deer Lakes students – will be on display throughout March as part of Penn State, New Kensington’s annual Arts Alive! high school showcase.

Throughout March, Penn State, New Kensington, gallery spotlights the creativity and talents of students from consortium member schools Deer Lakes, Highlands, Kiski, St. Joseph and Valley through its annual “Arts Alive!” high school art consortium showcase.

Deer Lakes’ portion of the exhibit features the work of approximately 30 student-artists in various media, including ceramics, sketching, painting and more. The students chose their own subjects and were given a ton of freedom in which to express their creativity.
