Student Powered Solutions (formally GPP) is a cross-curricular approach (five courses) to project-based learning. It is a professional partnership between BHS students and teachers, The Consortium for Public Education, CCBC, and First Energy Nuclear in Shippingport, PA. This project provides students with a unique problem-solving experience as well as focuses developing skills in creativity, critical-thinking, and collaboration. This year the school is partnering with Mohawk Area SD in Lawrence County to extend the Student Powered Solutions program to other area schools.
