Buddy Club assists elementary students in creating snack packs

Students from the Centerville Middle School Buddies Club visited Ms. Legenstein’s Class at Centerville Elementary School on Nov. 19. CMS students helped them follow a visual recipe to make a turkey snack pack. Then, they completed a reflection form recalling the ingredients they used, drew a picture of what their snack pack looked like, if they liked the activity, and wrote a Thanksgiving sentence. Wrapping up the day was a few rounds of Thanksgiving bingo. The students, young and old, had fun working together to complete these activities, and it gives them opportunities to talk and learn more about each other.
