Trever Fleck, an information technology student at Clearfield County Career and Technology Center (CCCTC) during the 2015-16 school year, has earned high scores on several exams including an Advanced score on the National Occupational Competency Testing Institute (NOCTI) test. The NOCTI test is a battery of assessments for students studying in career and technical programs in the United States. Fleck also earned his OSHA certification and strong scores on both his CompTIA A+ and his CompTIA Strata IT Fundamentals certifications.

Fleck said that one of the things that he learned at CCCTC that prepared him for his future was learning how to troubleshoot personal computers. As a student, he was able to experience real-life troubleshooting while working with the CCCTC’s computer technology coordinator, Frank Walk.  Fleck plans to pursue an associate or bachelor’s degree.
