Tyler Womer, a 2015 graduate of Clearfield County Career and Technology Center (CCCTC), says the hands-on training he received has benefited him in the working world. He was a student in the Automotive Mechanics program and also did the co-op program his senior year with Blaise Alexander of Philipsburg.

During his time at CCCTC, Womer said the experience he gained in school helped him on his training site at Blaise Alexander. When he started there, he was a detailer, and once a mechanics bay opened up, he was offered a position in light mechanic duty. The hands-on training he did from day to day gave him an advantage in his career and is already paying off.
