Claysburg Kimmel Elementary Spends a Day in the Wild!

On Monday, February 5, more than 400 Claysburg Kimmel Elementary School students spent a day in the “Wild!” The day-long event, presented by the Carnegie Science Center Mobile Unit, provided engaging, interactive demonstrations in the areas of biology, robotics, physics and more. The journey began with the Wild By Design assembly show, then moved to Adventure Stations where all the key concepts were reinforced with hands-on activities and with a little help from our senior high FBLA students. The even was supported in part through the Claysburg Education Foundation.
