PWHS Marketing students revised a flyer promoting their effort to collect donations for a service dog training program.

For their marketing final, students at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School were required to demonstrate what they learned in a month-long project to either promote a cause or create a marketing plan for a potential new business. Teams of students created promotions and events to raise money to help fight cancer, encouraged elementary students to be physically active, supported service dogs, recruited new members for PWHS clubs and found ways to give back to the community. Sophomore Brooke Dunoff created an initiative, “Helping Hands,” reaching out to donors and businesses for toiletries, new socks and other items to create care packages she distributed to Philadelphia’s homeless population. “I thought that if I’m going to do the work for the final, I might as well make it real…and make a difference,” said Brooke. The marketing class is one of the many electives offered through the Entrepreneurship, Design and Innovation department at the school.
