New partnership supplies coordinated care

A new coordinated care program in Corry Elementary School will help students with severe behavioral or emotional problems receive care at school, at home or in the community. According to an article in Erie News-Times, the district has partnered with mental health staff at Achievement Center and Community Care Behavioral Health Organization to develop coordinated treatment plans for individual students. Care will be offered during school and after-school hours and in the summer, and it is in addition to existing school-based services. The goal is to better meet each family’s needs and give students the tools to find success.
