FCS Students earn 19 ribbons at 2019 PA Farm Show

The Pennsylvania annual Farm Show holds competitions for livestock breeding, including horticulture and even quilting in the Family Living department. This is not news to the Family and Consumer Science students of Dover Area School District, as they entered many pieces in the quilting competition this year. In total, the students brought home a total of 19 ribbons!
Kelsey Hasson earned Best in Show for her Quilted Flip Flop Backpack, along with first- and third-place ribbons. Other students had great success, such as Shanda Feeser, who won three second-place ribbons for her quilt and wall hangings. The students look forward to doing even better next year.
