Three teams from WJHSD earned the title of PA Future Problem Solving State Champs at the PA Future Problem Solving competition held April 26-April 27 in Camp Hill, PA and earned an invitation to the Future Problem Solving International Conference at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Our teams of students will be working and preparing to tackle de-extinction problems set 20-30 years into the future and competing against teams from around the country and all over the world.

Future Problem Solving Program International (FPSPI), a non-profit organization established in 1974, has grown into an international academic program challenging its students to think creatively and futuristically. Since its inception, the program has grown to include students from 32 states and 18 countries. Hundreds of thousands of students participate each year through competitive and non-competitive school programs that use FPSPI to enhance curriculum through critical and creative thinking.
