The Galeton Area SD’s annual Family Reading Night is one way the district keep parents and community members connected to student learning. Elementary students are invited to bring parents, grandparents or other adults to the event, which features fun activities such as guest readers, a used book swap, crafts, games, family reading time and refreshments, all free to attendees. This year’s event, “Happy Campers” featured a reading of Margaret and H.A. Rey’s Curious George Goes Camping, among other activities.
