Make a Difference Day

Homer-Center School District  |  Posted on

Students involved with the Interact Club collected money for Make a Difference Day in part with ICCAP and the food pantry. Throughout the day, students collected nonperishable foods and monetary donations. The Homer-Center High School Interact Club performs volunteer work in the community as a way for students to give back to their community. In the past, the Interact Club has volunteered to assist the “Walk for Life” and The Salvation Army, repainted the benches at the local park and has collected food. Over the next five years, the club hopes to expand beyond the local community and work towards service projects to benefit international communities to impact the world around them.
