The Drumbella

On Friday, March 29th the JCSD represented by Alycia Zummo and Sydney Shifko attended the PA Invention Convention in State College. The team comprised of Alycia Zummo, Abby Mortimore, Sydney Shifko & Tyler Horn were invited to the event as finalists and placed 2nd in the state for their “Drumbella” invention.

The “Drumbella” can be used to prevent rain from laying on a drum head which can distort the sound made when played. The students came up with the idea and design concept, followed by manufacturing a functional model. The JCSD is proud of their efforts!
