The Kutztown Area School District STEAM Factory Launch Event was held on Friday, Feb. 16, 2018. The event showcased the district’s commitment to an integrated approach to science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics. The February event inaugurated multiple new initiatives for the district as we prepare our students to be “future ready,” equipped with next-generation skills and habits that transcend learning and location. The culminating showcase was the STEAM Factory, featuring hands-on stations, our art show, and centers including experiences in: virtual reality, motion capture, maker space and design, drone flight, coding and programming activities, design challenges, and multimedia experiences. The STEAM Launch Event introduced several new programs to the Kutztown Area School District:

  • STEAM Vision 2020
  • Curriculum and Programs for 2018 (K-12 Computer Science, Design, Engineering)
