Educators from across the state visited Jefferson Middle School to learn about the school’s culture and practices.

The Pennsylvania School Study Council sponsored a visit to Jefferson Middle School (JMS) for educators from around the state to learn what makes JMS a high-performing school. The event gave visiting educators a chance to learn about the best practices used at JMS to benchmark against their schools’ processes for student achievement. The Pennsylvania School Study Council noted JMS ranking as the No. 1 Middle School in PA by StartClass.com, an education research company. The ranking is based on state-level data to determine a school’s caring, engaging and rigorous learning environment.
