Students and their families tinkered and built in pop-up maker spaces in the high school.

The Mt. Lebanon School District K-12 STEAM Showcase held on Feb. 23 was a great success. Mt. Lebanon families converged on the high school to take part in a night of science, engineering, math, and art exploration and making. Curious children filled the maker spaces, tinkered with circuits, and built towers and bridges with Legos and Keva planks. Moms and dads helped to fasten LED lights on wearable art designed by their children. Students also displayed their science projects to share with the community. It was a fun-filled night of science thanks to the teachers and administrators who planned the event.
