Oley Valley students learn about other cultures

On Oct. 13, 2017, social studies teacher Colleen Breen utilized the Exploring Human Geography Through Taste Grant and had her Oley Valley Middle School (OVMS) classes learning about Puerto Rico. Following a brief presentation, students helped to make (and eat) pastelillos, a wonderful fried dish. OVMS appreciated the efforts of Millie Caraballo-DeJesus, who presented, cooked and worked with the students on this project.
