Pequea Valley School District – North Museum Science Fair

The following Pequea Valley learners in grades 7-12 participated in the North Museum Science and Engineering Fair on Wednesday, March 28 at Spooky Nook, near Lancaster: Jordan Melson, Nayelly Argueta, Kara Huenink, Kenny Colon, Jon Wilkins, Adrianna Reiter, Tim Malloy, Marlena Ferry, Joe Olonovich, Jamie Stephan, Emma Zanin, Brittany Shirk, William Porter, Cameron Beiler, Andy Jaramillo, Mackenzie Long, and Luke Martelli.

The following learners earned Auxiliary Awards:

  • Kenny Colon won the Harrisburg University Science and Technology Award
  • Tim Malloy won the Indian Organization of Lancaster County Award
  • Adrianna Reiter won the Society of Manufacturing Engineers and the Lancaster County Solid Waste Management Authority Award
  • Jamie Stephan won the Millersville University College of Science and Technology Award
  • Jon Wilkins won the RETTEW award (RETTEW is a national engineering firm that gave the award)

These learners placed in their respective categories:

  • Jamie Stephan — 2nd Place for Earth and Environmental Science
  • Adriana Reiter — 2nd Place for Energy: Chemical
  • Kenny Colon — 2nd Place for Robotics, Systems Software, and Embedded Systems
  • Tim Malloy — 3rd Place for Energy: Chemical
  • Brittany Shirk — Honorable Mention for Environmental and Mechanical Engineering
