Paradise Elementary joins Girls On the Run

This fall, 14 amazing fifth- and sixth-grade girls from Paradise Elementary School trained to run a 5k at Millersville University while learning about themselves, developing healthy relationships and building confidence. The run was part of the Girls on the Run program, a national initiative that teaches youth life skills and encourages them to healthy inside and out. The girls also participated and completed a community impact project by writing more than 100 thank-you cards to the teachers, support staff, cafeteria staff and bus drivers at Paradise Elementary School.
