“Communication is Power. It can change the world!”

Each year during the month of May, the Pennsylvania Speech-Language-Hearing Association (PSHA) has a contest to celebrate what is known as “better hearing and speech month.” This year’s slogan was “Communication is Power. It can change the world!” Mrs. Lauren Lefever, the Speech-Language Pathologist at Salisbury Elementary School provides the opportunity to the facilitators and learners each year to participate in their coloring, drawing and essay contests. This year, Joseph Hagelin received second place in the coloring contest. Joseph’s picture was featured in the PSHA newsletter, and he received a gift card to Target.
