FFA Jacket Scholarship/PA FFA Keystone Degree

Five Pequea Valley FFA members earned their very own FFA Jacket at the PA FFA Mid-Winter Convention! Each member wrote an essay about what the jacket means to their future in FFA. The following members received the scholarship from the PA FFA Alumni:
Kiersten Winey
Trey Beiler
Tyler Zook
Ethan Smucker
Julia Shaubach

In addition to the Jacket scholarship, Pequea Valley FFA is also excited to have three Keystone Degree winners! The Keystone Degree is the state degree for PA FFA members. To qualify, each member needed to have more than two years of a Supervised Agricultural Experience in any area of agriculture, volunteered for more than 25 hours of community service, and attended more than 15 FFA events at all levels. Jamie Stephan is the current PV FFA President. Her Supervised Agricultural Experience’s include: agriscience research, volunteering at the Paradise Sportman’s Association Trout Hatchery, and working at Seven Trees Woodworking. Eden Groff’s Supervised Agricultural Experience’s include raising market lambs, dairy beef steers, and dairy cattle. Adrianna Reiter raised dairy cattle for her Supervised Agricultural Experience. Congratulations!
