PRIDE Program – Promoting a positive culture

For the second year, the Elk County District Attorney, Shawn McMahon presented the PRIDE program to Ridgway Middle School’s 6th grade class.
The PRIDE program, developed by McMahon, emphasizes students taking Personal Responsibility; Respecting Themselves and Others; Insight (clearly understanding actions); Discipline (exercising self-control); and Expectations. The program highlights cyber harassment; the transmission of inappropriate/explicit photos; and school safety (terroristic threats). RASD appreciates District Attorney McMahon’s on-going support for their school safety efforts!
