Participating in a national TV show on Sept. 29 was an “off-the-hook” experience for a number of SV’s secondary students. Science classes from Seneca Valley Intermediate High School participated in a taping of “Fishing University,” an outdoor television show that has been broadcasting for 32 years. The taping included the show’s co-hosts Charlie Ingram and Ray Brazier as well as several local guests from Moraine State Park and Jennings Environmental Education Center. The group spoke for about an hour to students about the types of jobs that can be found in the great outdoors. “Fishing University” can be seen on the Outdoor Channel, the Sportsman Channel and World Fishing Network in all 50 states and 51 other countries.
