Spring-Ford Area accepts ‘Chandler’s Challenge’

Spring-Ford Area students, faculty and staff are focusing on making this school year exceptional. The goal started with an inspiring convocation address by Spring-Ford Area High School student, Chandler Balch, who spoke about his appreciation for all of his teachers. Balch received a standing ovation displaying the pride Spring-Ford teachers have for their students and co-workers. At the end of his speech, Chandler issued a challenge to everyone in the room “to take an ordinary school year and turn it into an extraordinary one.” Each of Spring-Ford’s 13 schools received a Chandler’s Challenge poster and every faculty and staff member was asked to sign the poster to accept Chandler’s Challenge.
