Students Honor Somerset Area School Board Members

January is School Director Recognition Month. At Somerset Area School District’s January 2019 meeting, their dedicated school board members were presented with butcher block cutting boards that were handmade—start to finish—by talented Golden Eagle scholars in Mr. Brotz’s and Mr. Robertson’s technology education classes. From cutting the boards and gluing them together, to creating a CADD design and laser engraving, and to sanding and finishing, these students honored SASD’s school directors with their excellent work.
In addition, Mrs. LuAnn Barron and her video production students created a professional-looking video presentation that documented the entire design and build process.
What an excellent way to thank the SASD board members for their volunteer service!
