Township Fire & Rescue Service supports elementary students through mentorship program

The Susquehanna Township Fire/Rescue Services are joining forces to support student safety through mentoring relationships with the district’s elementary students. The school mentoring program began in November at Sara Lindemuth/Anna Carter Primary School.
Township firefighters visited students during regularly scheduled recess periods and engaged students in a variety of activities. The program will run for the duration of the 2019-2020 school year and will launch at Thomas W. Holtzman Elementary School in December to support students in grades 3-5.
