Sophomore Class President Brooke Eyler started a new initiative at the high school to promote leadership, positivity and kindness among students. According to the Indiana Gazette, Eyler and several other students decided to start the movement after attending a leadership conference at Lock Haven University. Eyler and three juniors presented the concept to their peers in a school assembly and have started several projects, including painting and hanging posters with positive messaging around the schools. The goal is to make sure every student, even those not interested in sports or existing club activities, has a place where they feel they belong. High school guidance counselor Belinda Lambie oversees the group and its activities.
