Agriculture students spruce up grounds of school campus.

Students from agriculture classes at Bald Eagle Area High School have been spending time sprucing up the grounds of the school campus. It’s an effort that teacher Todd Biddle said he does with his classes every year.

Many of the newer landscapes were also designed by students in Biddle’s horticulture class. Students have also been working on a design for the school courtyard and are responsible for maintenance associated with the design, as well as assisting in the mulching process around the school.

“It is a great opportunity to get hands-on, real world experience,” Biddle said. “Whether as a student who pursues a career in horticulture careers or as a future homeowner, these skills are valuable to our students.”
