Book Mobile promotes summer reading

The Allegheny-Clarion Valley Book Mobile is helping students in the district keep up their reading skills during the summer and prevent summer slide. The blue van makes stops at locations throughout the summer with a collection of new and gently used books for children. Any student in the district can come by and pick up a free book to read and a snack. Stops around the area are announced on the district’s Facebook page and include the public library, community center, fire hall, several parks and a local restaurant. The Book Mobile helps students get excited about reading!
