Students with new robotics competition platform

Mid Valley School District recently implemented at its elementary and secondary centers Project Lead the Way STEM courses for students in grades K-12. The secondary STEM classroom was expanded and renovated, and now boasts a robotics competition platform. High school students can also enroll in a new elective Introduction to Engineering Design.

Other programs added in the district include  a new language arts series, Wit & Wisdom, which is being implemented in grades K-6, and a K-8 mathematics series, Math in Focus, which is based on the Singapore Math approach. Students in the district are engaged in rigorous learning experiences and materials that are aligned with the PA Core Standards.
These investments in our students and programs all flow from our district’s vision statement: EDUCATE . . . INSPIRE . . . EMPOWER . . . This is Mid Valley.
