Benner Elementary class welcomes guest from AccuWeather

After Lynn Kipp’s fourth-grade class at Benner Elementary School learned about weather and climate during a science unit in May, they welcomed a guest speaker — AccuWeather meteorologist Alyson Heogg, who spoke about warm and cold fronts, pressure systems, cloud types, severe weather and more. She also discussed the reasons why she became a meteorologist.
