#ColonialKindness spreads during campaign

Albert Gallatin Courageous Kindness Group is focused on promoting and sharing kindness throughout the district. The goal is to show children that kindness can change the world for the better and that students can help bring about positive transformation. Through the #ColonialKindness social media initiative, the Digital Media students practiced building media skills while creating and sharing inspirational videos that show examples of what kindness looks like at school – encouraging a peer after a bullying incident or helping a classmate with work. They also interviewed students and staff about what they thought kindness meant. See the videos on the district’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
