Students encourage healthy lifestyles with Healthy Selfie campaign

For the entire 2018-19 school year, Cranberry Area High School has been conducting Wellness Wednesdays to promote a healthy lifestyle. But after a state health and physical education conference, Mrs. Oliver had an idea. She is the staff coordinator for the student CRANA organization.

The CRANA members developed the idea of a Healthy Selfie, which can be submitted via email, to showcase students and staff living healthy lifestyles. The idea is to take a selfie doing something active, such as hiking or kayaking. Two students or staff members with the best selfie will be chosen each month and be presented with a Dunham’s gift card to encourage them to continue the healthy lifestyle.
