Eastern students team up to practice medical skills

At Eastern Center for Arts and Technology, which serves students in nine school districts in eastern Montgomery County, Protective Services and Allied Health students recently teamed up to learn and practice emergency medical skills and techniques. Students learned proper procedures for using a long backboard, splinting fractures and maintaining an airway, breathing, and circulation. They also engaged in practical exercises to reinforce skills and techniques.
