Superintendent Dr. Chris Adams visits a Hempfield Holiday Shoppe table and makes his purchases.

At the Hempfield Holiday Shoppe on Thursday, December 7, students from across the school district sold their handmade items to school and community shoppers. From winter-themed ornaments to molded crayons, wooden signs, glass magnets and notepad gift sets, students prepared for the event as part of their classes with emphasis on instilling basic work skills such as developing and marketing a product, interacting with customers and working with money. A second shoppe event will be held in the spring.
