Manheim Township SD focuses on kindness

Second-graders at Schaeffer and Nitrauer elementary schools in Manheim Township SD celebrated the holiday season by focusing on acts of kindness. Students at Schaeffer completed chores at home to earn money, which they donated to Schreiber Pediatric Rehab Center of Lancaster County. A total of $147 was donated. At Nitrauer, more than 190 students were recognized for kind acts toward staff or peers as part of a “bucket-filling” character development initiative.
