McClellan Elementary School Kindergartners Write Letters to Sailors at Sea

A few of the Kindergarten Classes at McClellan Elementary have been using a multisensory handwriting program to perfect their handwriting and letter development and reinforce their writing skills.

In honor of Kindergarten Kindness Week at McClellan, these kindergarten classes participated in the Learning without Tears Supporting Our Sailors at Sea Program. Each kindergarten student wrote handwritten notes of encouragement and gratitude to the men and women stationed aboard the USS John C Stennis naval ship. The kindergartners loved showing off their handwriting skills and hope to bring smiles and joy to the men and women aboard the USS John C Stennis!
