Representatives Culter and Zimmerman Visit Salisbury Elementary!

Lauren Coblentz, one of our fourth grade learners from Salisbury Elementary, won the state design card contest. For the contest, the kids were asked to create a birthday card that represented our state. Lauren created a beautiful design including the liberty bell, state flower, state outline, and a keystone. We were honored to have Representative Cutler and Representative Zimmerman with us to talk about our state government. They brought pizza for the kids to celebrate Lauren’s success. They then talked about their role in our government. Our kids asked many great questions for the representatives to answer. It was a great experience for our learners.
