Creativity that helps others

During the holiday season, in art class, third-grade students created designs that shared their love of art in a poster design. The poster designs were voted on by the entire grade and one design was chosen from each homeroom. The winning designs were printed on bags that were filled with art supplies, donated by third-grade students and parents. The bags were delivered to Opportunity House in Reading, just in time for Christmas. Not only did the students participate in a drawing contest to determine the top designs to be placed on the bags, but they also learned about giving in the process. With this lesson, they shared their love for art and for giving!
