High school students turn science into art for DNADay2017

Every year to celebrate the discovery of DNA’s double helix in 1953, an Owen J. Roberts high school classroom holds a DNA model competition. The event brings attention to the uniqueness of human hereditary material, and transforms the classroom into a world or color and shapes, with more than 90 unique DNA models. “I am always amazed at the creativity and talents of OJR students,” said teacher Laura George.
