New science curriculum aims to inspire students

Students in K-5 in Susquehanna Community SD are getting a foundation in the sciences that aims to prepare them for innovation and the modern workforce. The new curriculum, called Inspire Science, is designed to teach students critical thinking and problem solving skills that will allow them to adapt to changing technology. It also aims to cultivate curiosity and interest in the science, technology, engineering and math fields through the accompanying STEM learning materials. Overall, the curriculum encourages career-based learning that encourages students to think like scientists and engineers while developing valuable skill sets.
