When Google was looking for schools to showcase its new virtual reality Tour Creator technology, which enables schools to make their own Google Expeditions, Penn Manor SD was on the list. While students have been able to virtually visit remote places through Expeditions, Tour Creator provides students with a way to create their own tours to showcase their environments. Students at Penn Manor High School made an Expedition called “Farming for the Future in Lancaster,” which Google released on its website with an announcement of the new product and a video featuring the students and Penn Manor educators who assisted the students. Watch the students’ Expedition here.
