Penndale science teacher Matt Wendell receives exemplary teacher award

North Penn School District (NPSD) is proud to recognize Penndale Middle School ninth-grade Physical Science teacher, Matt Wendell, for being chosen by the Montgomery County Science Teachers Association (MCSTA) to receive the 2015-16 Exemplary Teacher Award, Middle School Division. Each year, the Montgomery County Science Teachers’ Association honors science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) teachers for their contributions to science education in the lives of their students, schools and communities. This honor is open to all schools in Montgomery County, public, private, home school or charter. From submitted nominations, one elementary, middle and high school STEM teacher will be selected for this award. Those who are chosen demonstrate mastery of their profession, sincerity and dedication towards their work. Matt Wendell will be honored at the MCSTA mini-convention on Thursday, October 20th at Upper Dublin High School.
