Pequea Valley National Honor Society honored for volunteer work

November was a big month for Pequea Valley’s National Honor Society and our partnership with United Disabilities Services of Lancaster (UDS). PV’s 18-year partnership with UDS has included assisting with a basketball shootout fundraiser, to helping with a Gift Wrap Booth at the local mall during the holiday season. Last year, the booth raised more than $50,000 in just one month’s time. NHS help set up the gift wrap booth on the Sunday before Thanksgiving and tear it down after Christmas. UDS honored the NHS group at the annual awards banquet, selecting them as volunteers of the year.
