Pequea Valley twirler performs in Miss America parade

On September 9, Pequea Valley HS freshman and marching band’s feature twirler, Emilie Thibeault traveled to Atlantic City to perform in the Miss America “Show Us Your Shoes” parade. She was among 1,000 performers to travel down the boardwalk with the contestants, dignitaries and marching bands to entertain 5,000 spectators. The Pequea Valley Marching Band is proud to feature her skills in their halftime shows.
