The third annual Construction Trades Day was held at Pequea Valley (PV) SD by Landmark Homes and Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology. This unique, interactive learning experience educates students about the “gold collar” careers available in the construction industry. Many PV learners toured 10 different homes in different phases of construction. The students saw demonstrations in CAD and architecture, surveying, site prep, electrical, HVAC, flooring, framing and foundation/concrete. This type of learning experience represents the district’s commitment to Mass Customized Learning (MCL) where students learn in many different ways, including through hands-on experiences.
