Richland SD students earn technology accolades

Ten Richland SD students competed at the 41st annual Technology Student Association (TSA) National Championship in Washington, DC. The competition involved approximately 8,000 middle school and high school students from across the country. According to an article in the Tribune-Democrat, the district earned spots in the top 10 for six events, including extemporaneous speech, mass production, medical technology, problem solving, biotechnology design and promotional marketing. Open to students enrolled in or who have completed technology education courses, TSA’s membership includes more than 250,000 middle and high school students across the United States.
