Laurie teaches a new computer-based class called Ram QUEST, an acronym for Questioning, Understanding, Exploring, Searching, and Teaming. This hands-on computer application exposes his elementary students to cyber safety, coding, engineering, math and science, with the curriculum expanding all the way through high school.

“In my classroom, students get a chance to be scientists and engineers,” says Laurie. “We work through challenging problems and we never give up. Difficult problems help us become better thinkers and reach toward excellence.”
