United students present musical

United High School Drama Club and Music Department presented Madagascar – A Musical Adventure to students, parents, and community members alike. Junior and senior high school students portrayed amusing characters such as as Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe and Gloria the Hippo along with other penguins, lemurs, monkeys and penguins making their escape from New York City’s Central Park Zoo and finding themselves in the wild world of Madagascar. Students honed their dramatic and musical skills in about six weeks in order to prepare a stage-worthy and entertaining production.
